Minister of science and education Dekker personally visited LUMICKS to learn about the technological developments and market potential for the Tweezers-Fluorescence in its wide variety of applications in biology. Minister Dekker also briefly operated the new microscope, to trap, manipulate and measure a single stranded DNA molecule by himself, and was genuinely impressed by the ease-of-use.
