Abstract
The purpose of this article is to instruct customers how to move data to and from the data share drive.
How to move data to or from the Bridge PC
Background information
The Controller PC of the C-Trap/m-Trap has a very specific configuration that is set up for controlling all the components of the system. In order to preserve its correct functioning, no addidional peripherals can be connected to it, and the PC is not directly connected to the internet.
The Bridge PC is an additional PC that is supplied with the C-Trap/m-Trap that is connected to the Controller PC via an Ethernet port. The Bridge PC has the role of connecting the Controller PC to the external, allowing the users to extract data from it, and allowing TeamViewer access to the Controller PC.
Instructions
- Make sure that the Bridge PC is powered on
- On the Controller PC, double-click the “Open data share” shortcut on your desktop. This opens an Explorer window with the data share drive. Copy your files from the Controller PC onto this data share drive.

- Log onto the Bridge PC. Browse File Explorer to the “D:” drive, and you will find your files there. From here, you can copy them on to a USB drive plugged into the Bridge PC, or to another location on your local network
